The dark moment the caterpillar calls the end of the world is the sun-filled moment the butterfly calls the beginning.

GOD OF THE DAY AND NIGHT

He's the God of the day and the God of the night,
And God of the in between.
He's God of the good times and God of the bad,
And God of the fat and the lean.

He's God when the path seems so straight and smooth,
Or the way seems so rocky and rough,
In times of prosperity and times of great plenty,
And also when there's not enough.

When your life's filled with showers of blessings,
Abundance of blessings in wealth,
But also in poverty and times of great need,
He's God in the night of poor health.

He's God in the day when the spirit is moving,
Bringing you fame and great power.
He's also the God when you feel so rejected,
Dejected in night's darkest hour.

When life seems so rosy and skies are so blue,
And the sun-shiny days seem forever,
Remember He's God when the clouds turn gray,
And the end of a dark night seems never.

When your wishes and hopes and life's aspirations,
Seem broken as night's shattered dreams,
Remember He's God and the day will soon come,
When the sunshine of life once more beams.

He's God of the days when life's full of joy,
And everything's going just right,
But don't ever despair, cause He's always there,
When you need Him in life's darkest night.

He's God of the valleys we often must travel,
And God of the mountains we must climb.
He's God in the daytime and God in the night,
He's the God you can call anytime.

NOW that the President has called us to prayer....
NOW that Congress has called us to prayer.....
NOW that our Governor has called us to prayer....
NOW that the city Mayor has called us to prayer....
NOW that the "liberal" media and most other branches
of our American society have called us to prayer.....
AND NOW that our churches are assembling in special prayer....
"Honorable" Justices of the Supreme Court,
I have only one question...

Would it be okay NOW to pray in our schools

I had a very dear friend question my faith in God right after the terrorist attack on America. Her question was simply put, "Where is your God today?" She was very hurt, as all Americans were, so I tried not to react defensively.

Since that moment I have prayed and grieved over the disastrous events. However, I believe I have the answer. I know where my God was the morning of September 11, 2001! He was very very busy.

First of all, he was trying to discourage anyone from taking this flight. Those four flights together held over 1000 passengers and there was only 266 aboard.

He was on 4 commercial flights giving terrified passengers the ability to stay calm. Not one of the family members who was called by a loved one on one of the high-jacked planes said that passengers were screaming in the background. On one of the flights he was giving strength to passengers to try to overtake the high-jackers.

He was busy trying to create obstacles for employees at the World Trade Center. After all only around 20,000 were at the towers when the first jet hit. Since the buildings hold over 50,000 workers, this was a miracle in itself. How many of the people who were employed at the WTC told the media that they were late for work or they had traffic delays.

He was holding up two 110 story buildings so that 2/3 of the workers could get out. I was so amazed that the top of the towers didn't topple when the jets impacted.

Although this is without a doubt the worst thing I have seen in my life, I can see God's miracles in every bit of it. I keep thinking about my friend and praying for her every chance I have. I can't imagine going through such a difficult time and not believing in God. Life would be hopeless."

"Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me...."

GOD BLESS THE USA

National Prayer

Lord, we come to You on bended knee,
heads bowed and our hearts filled to overflowing
with so much grief for the many people who have
been injured and killed in our National crisis.

We ask you Lord, to give courage
and strength to those who so bravely
go to their aid. And though their hearts will
be heavy and filled with sorrow we ask Lord
that You give them the endurance needed
to help them through this difficult task.

Please give us the strength Lord,
to get through each difficult and devastating
day that faces each of us and our country.
Protect and guide our Military that
are now being called to duty.

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders
of our great country in their hour of decision.
The burden that has been placed on their
shoulders during this crisis is overwhelming.
We ask that with Your infinite wisdom you
guide them gently to the right decisions.

And lastly Lord, we ask that you
allow us all to come together as a Nation,
to stand tall and united, so that we might
help each other in our hour of need.
Amen
