O Canada
O Canada!
Terre de nos aïeux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux!
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits.
Et ta valeur, de foi trempée,
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.
O Canada
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
The words to O Canada came from

This is the Halifax International Airport on Sept 11th. 2001. Nova Scotia Canada, Just thought it was a cool
picture. We had 9000 people here from all over the world for a few days, Still hard to imagine all that has and is going on.
God Bless, Kim

My Uncle on the West coat ( Comox, B.C) sent me the photo. His son is with the airlines there.
I like the rest of the world am overwhelmed by all this and still in shock. My husband is in the Canadian Coast Guard and also a fire fighter and My Daughter is a firefighter and plans to be a
paramedic.
I am so overcome by sadness when I see the images on t.v and feel guilty when I go out and see people living like nothing is happening.
Sept 12 was my daughters birthday, I had to pick up her gift at Wal-Mart in Halifax, There where hundreds of people from all over the world out shopping there. Not because they wanted to spend and have fun, but because they were stranded in a strange place with nothing of there own. All belongings locked up on those planes and they had not as much as a tooth brush.
I spoke with a gentleman from Germany and was just so touched that he could find good in the whole situation. These people had spent the night sleeping in a school gym and instead of complaining how poorly they slept, or how tired they were , instead he compliments the city for its people and beautiful water
front.
I so admire the courage and solidarity that all those so personally affected have shown .
I know in my heart that Justice will be done and no one died in vain on Sept.
11th. With faith and determination the world will be a better place.
God Bless America and Us all, Kim
